AMALGAM EAGLE 18 exercise planners from the Mexican Air Force, U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and U.S. Army receive a Western Air Defense Sector mission briefing May 22, 2018. AMALGAM EAGLE 18 is a tactical exercise which is designed to enhance mutual warning and information sharing procedures in support of a cooperative response to illicit flights that cross the U.S.-Mexico border.
