Western Air Defense Sector controllers participate in RAZOR TALON 23-1, July 27, 2023 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. RAZOR TALON 23-1, hosted by the 4th Fighter Wing at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., allowed WADS to continue to optimize its command and control procedures in support of the defense of North America. Two Air Defense Artillery Fire Control Officers (ADAFCO) from the 108th Air Defense Artillery Brigade from Fort Liberty, N.C., sat side-by-side with WADS controllers to better integrate Patriot missiles into the exercise scenarios.
