WADS sends Command and Control SMEs to Cope Tiger 2024

Washington Air National Guardsmen (L-R) 2nd Lt. Tyler Shoemaker, Tech. Sgt. Matthew Brosius, Staff Sgt. Bassett, and Maj. Trent Farmer from the Western Air Defense Sector’s 225th Air Defense Squadron, pose in front the WA ANG 141st Air Refueling Wing’s KC-135 after arriving at Yokata Air Base, Japan, on their way to Cope Tiger in Thailand, March 13, 2024. They are command and control subject matter experts who helped Royal Thai Air Force weapons controllers as they conducted tactical intercept mission exercises during Cope Tiger. This engagement improved readiness and combined joint interoperability between the RTAF and WAANG, while concurrently aiming to enhance strong defense relations as part of the State Partnership Program.
