WADS logs 259 miles during POW/MIA Run

Members of the Western Air Defense Sector ran in the 24-Hour POW/MIA Remembrance Run at the McChord Field track Sept. 14 to 15. 

The event was hosted by the Air Force Sergeants Association and included participants from 24 Air Force teams from the active duty, Washington Air National Guard, and USAF Reserves assigned to Joint Base Lewis-McChord. 

Master Sgt. Diana Feeley, NCO in charge of Knowledge Management for the 225th Support Squadron, personally logged 24.5 miles.  Bruce Robie, National Airspace System Defense program manager for the 225th Support Squadron, completed 41 miles during the 24-hour period. 

The WADS team logged 1,037 laps for a cumulative total of 259 miles.  As a whole, 250 Team McChord Airmen ran 5,397 miles to raise awareness and honor prisoners of war and those still missing in action.
